October's featured student is
Joel Adria.
Joel at the 2009 National Ambassador Youth Forum with ambassadors Nura, Angela, and Alexandra
A French for the Future ambassador of bilingualism, Joel is a computing science student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His main interests lie in the combination of multimedia and computers.
His interest in computing science and media pushed him to get involved in the technical aspects of theatre during high school and he hopes to continue in this field through the Francophone theatre on campus.
As a job, Joel builds websites for many companies and individuals. He has also started doing page layout for posters and other print materials. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and playing a bit of guitar.
