How Philippe arrived at French for the FutureBorn in Montréal, Philippe has lived in Edmonton for more than 15 years. He was recently conferred a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from the University of Alberta and, this September, he will pursue a Master of Journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa. His passion for the French language and youth networks led him to get involved as president of Francophonie jeunesse de l’Alberta, vice-president of the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française and now, for a second year, coordinator of the National Youth Ambassador Forum. He looks forward to welcoming the ambassadors to Vancouver, the modern metropolis with breathtaking mountains and oceanic sights, and to let them live a truly unparalleled experience, at the heart of the Franco-Columbian community.
