How I learned French
I started in a Core French programme when I was 12 years old. I learned the written language, all the grammar, etc. before I ever had a chance to actually speak the language. I did my B.A. in French Literature. This included a year of study at the University of Bordeaux. Finally a chance to speak French – as well as to enjoy the fine wines!

My proudest achievement
I published a series of language study courses (books and cassettes). The first course was a Frech course (Français contemporain) which presented French as spoken in Canada – as well as in other Francophone countries round the world.
