How Michelle arrived at French for the Future
Michelle comes from Kincardine, Ontario, where she studied in French Immersion up to grade 8. In high school, she went on exchange to Nice, France, for three months. She moved to Toronto when she was 18, to attend the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. After several years of working within the music and film industries, Michelle came to realize the value of being bilingual and decided to change career paths to become a French teacher. She now attends Glendon College, York University’s bilingual campus, where she is pursuing a specialized Bachelor of Arts in French Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Education through Glendon’s French Concurrent Education Program.

Through her studies, Michelle did a community placement at French for the Future for several months, during which she realized she shared a passion for French with everyone in the office!  It is with great pleasure that she now joins the team at French for the Future.
