What’s your dream? One of my dreams is to become a House of Commons Student Page the year after I graduate from high school and become active in the field of human rights and public policy after I graduate from university.
Name a francophone event that you particularly liked and tell us why. When I visited St. Donat, I had an opportunity to sing and participate in a song circle for traditional folk music, which introduced me to the world of francophone music. This music was inspiring, and students from my school and I recorded the song Rocher Percé by Bernard Ouellette. This is the activity I want to share with others in my community because music can bring Canadians together in an engaging way.
Why you can’t wait to take part in the FNJA? One of my goals is to become bilingual, converse fully in French, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to be fully immersed in French at FNJA because it looks like a great way to learn and have some fun in the summer.
