The Southern Alberta Forum will be an amazing day where students from across the region will join together in person to celebrate the successes of their bilingual journey. Teachers will also have the option to access a live stream option.

Our keynote speaker  will allow students to see the benefits of continuing their French education as well as create a vision to include it in their future. Students will have an opportunity to participate in our interactive “French Feud” game show to win some fabulous prizes either on stage or on their device. To wrap everything up, there will be a special performance from our very own Franco-Albertan artist who is a songwriter, performer and rapper!

Corey LaRanger is a bilingual actor, producer and emcee. He has a long list of events that he has hosted including World Junior Hockey Championships, Edmonton Oilers, the Grey Cup and many more. Corey has also played lead and supporting roles in award winning productions and won the Best Actor at the Edmonton International Film Fest. He is passionate about the benefits of being bilingual and encourages students to embrace these benefits.

His real name is Dan Dennis Ndala. On stage he chose 2Moods as his pseudonym, in order to promote the concept of the duality of elements in existence. Outside of the stage, 2Moods is a psychology student at the University of Alberta. Originally from Congo Kinshasa, now residing in Edmonton Canada, the artist has been active on the Canadian music scene since the summer of 2015. His love for music and his admiration for French vocabulary are the elements that motivated him to pursue a musical career.
