The Calgary Forum is almost here!

Calling all Grades 9 - 12 French students! Join us for the French for the Future Local Forum at the University of Calgary, a fun and inspiring full-day event where you’ll explore exciting ways to keep French in your life—through high school, post-secondary studies, and beyond.

Meet students from other schools, take part in interactive workshops, and visit exhibitor booths to discover real-world opportunities that come with being multilingual, from amazing career paths to travel around the world.

Get motivated, win prizes, enjoy lunch, and see why learning French opens doors—now and for your future!

Hugie Batherson

A comedian originating from Cape Breton, Hughie is an Anglophone who thrives in the Acadian Francophone scene. Winner of the Just for Laughs competition in Acadia, he has since participated in tours and festivals in the Atlantic and Ontario. He has opened for several big names in Quebec and Acadian comedy.

His real name is Dan Dennis Ndala. On stage he chose 2Moods as his pseudonym, in order to promote the concept of the duality of elements in existence. Outside of the stage. Originally from Congo Kinshasa, now residing in Edmonton Canada, the artist has been active on the Canadian music scene since the summer of 2015. His love for music and his admiration for French vocabulary are the elements that motivated him to pursue a musical career.
