The Halifax Forum is almost here!

The annual youth gathering for French speakers and learners is back! On October 14 and 15, 2026, Mount Saint Vincent University’s Seton Building will welcome over 600 local students for two days of 100% French immersion. Wednesday, October 14, is reserved for Grades 7 and 8 students, while Thursday, October 15, is open to Grades 9 through 12.

Going far beyond traditional language classes, this event features a dynamic lineup of hands-on, interactive workshops. By connecting with inspiring artists, community leaders, and professionals, participants will discover the many doors bilingualism can open. It is also a fantastic opportunity to meet peers from immersion and Francophone schools, build new friendships, and celebrate local French culture.

Teachers and school administrators, give your students the chance to build confidence and experience French in a whole new way! Spots are limited to around 300 participants per day, so reserve yours today using the registration forms for Grades 7–8 (Oct 14) or Grades 9–12 (Oct 15). We look forward to welcoming you!
