DETAILS OF THE EVENT

The St.John's Forum is almost here!
The French for the Future St. John’s Local Forum is back! Join us on December 9, 2026, at the Bruneau Centre (Memorial University) for an inspiring day celebrating the French language and Francophone culture. We are excited to welcome nearly 300 students from grades 9 to 12 across local French immersion and first-language schools.
Throughout the day, participants will take part in interactive workshops, attend an inspiring keynote presentation, and wrap up the forum with an energetic cultural performance to close out the event. It’s an incredible opportunity for students to build confidence in their French skills, connect with peers, and experience the vibrant Francophone and Acadian culture in Newfoundland and Labrador!
