Originally from Montreal, Patrick Arsenault now lives in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. His journey has taken him to more than ten cities across four countries, an experience that has shaped his deep conviction: Francophone communities in minority settings deserve strong voices, concrete actions, and spaces to thrive.

Patrick is a doctoral candidate in education and has also completed studies in leadership, international marketing, immigration, and public affairs. His career has led him to leadership positions in the postsecondary sector, where he has overseen major projects and contributed to the creation of lasting partnerships. He has developed recognized expertise in governance, educational innovation, and community development.

His approach is guided by the belief that even complex challenges can be transformed into opportunities for sustainable growth. He is committed to building inclusive and resilient organizations where the French language serves as a driver of identity, social, and economic development.

As a member of the Board of Directors of Le français pour l’avenir/ French for the Future, Patrick is dedicated to supporting youth. He shares the vision where young people express themselves confidently in French, cultivate a strong sense of belonging, and contribute to the vitality of Francophone communities.
