If a purchase is made through our online store, the information required to send your order will be requested (last name, first name, address, email, telephone number). PayPal is the payment system we use. PayPal has its own privacy policy that you can read in French or in English. French for the Future does not receive your banking information.

Donations

If a donation is made through our online donation form, the information needed to process your donation will be requested (form of address, last name, first name, email, telephone number). We use iATS Payments as a payment system. You can read the security measures taken by iATS Payments to protect your banking information at the end of this page. French for the Future does not receive your banking information.

Other

On occasion, French for the Future could use your personal identifying information to inform you of other products or services offered by French for the Future or its partners. French for the Future could also contact you to ask your opinion about its current services and new potential services that could be offered.


Limitation

The collection of personal information is limited to information that we consider useful and necessary for implementing our programs. The personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those justifying its collection, except with the consent of the individual or by legal obligation. Personal information will only be retained for such time as is strictly necessary and will be destroyed in accordance with our Document Retention Policy. In general, the personal information of participants, clients or donors is deleted seven years after the date on which the individual ceased to be active. 


Minors

French for the Future offers programs and activities for minors. The transmission of information via our website must be done with prior consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian. French for the Future establishes reasonable processes to identify minors and protect their information. We remind parents and guardians to maintain control over their children’s use of websites.
